Hello! My name is Sippakorn (สิปปกร อ่านว่า “สิบ-ปะ-กอน”).
whoami
I was born in 1989 in a small but lively beach town, Krabi, 800 km south of Bangkok, Thailand. I moved to Bangkok in 2007 and lived here since then. I do software engineering for a living.
I am an active student of the Theory Research Group at the Department of Computer Engineering, Kasetsart University. My thesis adviser is Jittat Fakcharoenphol.
I do research on computational learning theory. My focus is on model-agnostic interpretability and trustworthiness.
history
I learned my first coding to draw simple graphics (LOGO Turtle) when I was 10. I began my programming adventure with PASCAL, followed by C and C++ at an early age, and then JAVA and Python during my teenage. When I was young, I believed that I was good at math. However, I grew up and realized on my own that my belief was a myth. Thus, I managed to land myself in the field of computer science, where math compromise (at some level) was accepted.
I am a seasonal marathoner. I hold my personal best record from the Khon Kaen International Marathon 2019 with a finish time of 4:29:05 hrs. I am an amateur photographer. I am a Nikon fanboy with Z6ii as my gear.

If you came here with a specific reason in mind, you’re probably looking for the series of my Jupyter notebooks on machine learning and model interpretability, my writing on TDD and test automation on volatile staging environments, or a gentle guideline for new graduates looking for tech jobs in Bangkok.
